The standard of care

One client.
Your coach’s
full attention.

When you book a one-to-one session, that time is dedicated to you.

Your trainer stays engaged throughout, observing your technique, guiding your effort, adjusting exercises and helping you understand what you are doing and why.

Having a trainer available on the gym floor is different from having a coach dedicated to your session. You should not be left working through a routine while your trainer disappears for extended periods or divides their attention between other clients.

Even between sets, coaching continues: reviewing how an exercise felt, discussing recovery and preparing you for what comes next.

Attention

Your coach focuses on you throughout the session.

Adaptation

Exercises, resistance and pace adjusted to how you move and feel.

Purpose

Each session contributes to your goal.

Your coaching journey

A clear process.
A programme built
around you.

Effective coaching begins before the first workout. We take time to understand you, establish a useful starting point and develop a plan that evolves with your progress.

01

Client interview

We begin with your goals, exercise history, lifestyle, preferences and relevant health information. We discuss your schedule and any concerns about starting.

02

Relevant assessment

We select assessments appropriate to your goals and circumstances. These may explore strength, cardiovascular fitness, mobility, posture or body composition, helping us understand your starting point.

03

Goal setting

Together, we agree on realistic, meaningful goals and how to measure progress. From improving strength and body composition to moving with confidence in everyday life.

04

Programme design

Exercise selection, training frequency, resistance and progression are planned around your assessment findings, goals and availability.

05

Coaching & reassessment

Your trainer guides every session and reviews your progress at appropriate intervals. Your programme evolves as your fitness develops or your circumstances change.

06

Consistent record keeping

Assessments, goals and workouts are recorded in our proprietary app. Your coach has a clear training history to inform your next steps.

Our proprietary app supports the whole journey, keeping assessments and workouts connected from the outset.

Personal training

Personalisation in practice

The same goal.
A different
starting point.

Two people can share the same goal and need very different programmes.

Your exercise experience, movement capabilities, recovery, confidence and weekly schedule all influence how we coach you.

Some days, the right decision is to increase the challenge. On others, it is to adjust the load, change an exercise or spend more time developing technique. Your programme provides direction; your coach makes it work for you in practice.

For beginners, returning exercisers and experienced clients who want more focused guidance.

An ongoing relationship

Progress is built
over time.

Our programmes usually run for three months or longer.

An ongoing coaching relationship gives you time to learn exercises, establish consistency, build confidence and review how your body responds. It also allows your coach to refine the programme using your actual progress.

The right training frequency and duration depend on your goals, starting point and availability. We discuss these with you at your consultation.

Three months provides a period to build and review progress, not a deadline for achieving every goal.

Supported by the whole team

A familiar coach.
Continuity behind
every session.

Working with an assigned trainer allows a coaching relationship to develop over time. Your coach gets to know your history, preferences and how you respond to different exercises.

Behind that relationship is a team trained in a shared methodology. Our in-house training programme, staff manual and proprietary recording system support a consistent approach across the club.

If your usual trainer is on holiday or unwell, another team coach can step in and continue the coaching process thanks to our detailed record keeping of all your workouts and relevant parameters. Learn about our team

Before you begin

Your questions, answered.

Do I need to be fit before I start?

No. The interview and relevant assessments help us establish an appropriate starting point. Your programme is designed around your current capabilities.

Will I work with the same trainer?

You work with an assigned trainer over time. If they are unavailable, our shared methodology and client records help another team member provide continuity.

How often should I train?

We recommend a frequency based on your goals, current fitness, recovery and availability. This is discussed during your consultation and reviewed as needed.

How long should I commit for?

Programmes usually run for three months or longer. The appropriate duration depends on your objectives and the ongoing support you need.

How will you track my progress?

We record assessments and workouts in our proprietary app and reassess at relevant intervals. Progress is reviewed against the goals agreed with you.

What if I have an injury or health condition?

Tell us during your initial interview so we can discuss how it may affect your training. Where appropriate, we may ask for guidance from your treating healthcare professional before proceeding.

Your next step

Let’s build your
programme around you.

Tell us what you would like to achieve, what has held you back and what support you need. We will explain how our one-to-one coaching works and discuss a suitable starting point.
