Longevity Training
For the life you want to keep living.

Healthspan, not just lifespan

It is not only about years.
It is about what you can do with them.

The stamina to travel. The strength to carry things. Confidence on stairs. The capacity to keep enjoying sport.

Healthspan describes the years spent in good health. For us, that means a practical focus on staying capable, active and independent, so that your training connects with the life you want to lead.

We start by asking what you want to keep doing, understand where you are now and turn that information into action.

Stamina for the experiences you enjoy

Build aerobic fitness for active days, travel and the activities you want to keep doing.

Strength for everyday independence

Focus on the physical capacity to carry shopping, lift luggage and manage daily tasks.

Confidence in how you move

Work on balance, mobility and control where needed, with goals such as stairs, walking and sport in mind.

Clarity from the beginning

Your assessment should
lead somewhere.

You leave knowing what matters most—and what happens next.

Your personal report puts assessment findings into plain language. Rather than treating every measurement as equally important, we agree on three priorities connected to your capabilities, health considerations and personal goals.

Those priorities become the starting point for your training and the focus of your reviews.

The programme

Assessment. Action.
Follow-through.

Five connected parts, with your priorities at the centre. Medical input can happen before or during training whenever it is needed.

01

Assess & understand

An initial assessment and personal report

We begin with your goals, activity history and relevant health information, then select appropriate assessments of aerobic fitness, strength and physical function. Your starting point and any clinical restrictions guide what is suitable.

You receive a plain-language report explaining the findings, what they mean for your goals and three agreed priorities.

02

Put the plan into practice

A personalised 12-week training phase

Your coach guides supervised strength training, supported by a practical aerobic plan for your week. Balance or mobility work is added where needed. Exercise choice, intensity and progression are tailored to your capabilities and response.

A clear plan for what to do, with coaching to help you put it into practice.

03

Support the habits around training

Nutrition and lifestyle support

Richard personally conducts nutrition consultations, bringing his expertise as a Registered Nutritionist with a Master’s degree in Nutritional Medicine. Together, you work on practical eating habits, everyday activity and routines that fit your life. Where needs call for dietetic care, involvement of a registered dietitian is discussed and arranged as appropriate.

Manageable changes, reviewed with you—not a list of instructions to work through alone.

04

Review & keep progressing

Reassessment and an ongoing plan

At the end of the 12-week phase, we repeat relevant assessments and compare them with your starting point. We explain what changed, what still needs attention and how your programme should adapt. Continuing support includes quarterly reviews.

A progress review and an updated plan for the next phase.

05

Connect coaching with clinical advice

Coordinated medical input

With your consent, we coordinate with your existing doctor or an agreed medical professional where appropriate. The doctor reviews relevant risks and decides which tests, screening or further assessment are indicated. Their recommendations help inform suitable exercise and lifestyle priorities.

Clinical decisions stay with your doctor; your training plan takes relevant advice into account.

The difference is the follow-through

Not just information.
Someone to help you act on it.

You should be able to say:

“These are my priorities, this is my plan, and someone will help me make progress.”

This is the purpose of the programme—not a one-off report, but a connection between what we learn, what you do and how we review it together.

Richard Geres

A personal perspective

A philosophy
Richard lives himself.

Now in his 60s, Richard continues to make strength, fitness and nutrition part of his own life. That perspective informs the club’s emphasis on physical capability over time.

Your goals do not have to be his. Whether you want more confidence in everyday tasks or the capacity to keep enjoying an active lifestyle, the programme starts with what matters to you.

Active ageing · A client story

Meet Kay.
Active at 76.

At 76, Kay is a very fit member of our club who continues to make exercise part of her life. Her training offers a personal example of active ageing—and the quality of life that being fit at an older age can provide.

Everyone has a different starting point. Your programme is built around your capabilities and goals.

Before you begin

Your questions,
answered.

What do you mean by healthspan?

Healthspan is the part of life spent in good health, with the ability to do the things that matter to you. Our programme focuses on practical physical capability and habits, rather than promising a particular lifespan.

How is this different from Vitality 50+?

Vitality 50+ focuses on personalised training for adults over 50. Longevity offers a structured assessment-to-action pathway: a personal report with three priorities, an initial 12-week phase, nutrition and lifestyle support, reassessment and quarterly reviews, with medical input where appropriate.

Do I have to be fit to begin?

No. Your starting point shapes the assessments and training. If your health history or symptoms suggest you need medical advice before exercise, we discuss that before proceeding.

Does the programme include medical tests?

There is no standard test package prescribed by the club. Your doctor decides which tests or screening are appropriate. We clarify any separate appointments, arrangements and charges before you commit; medical and dietetic services should not be assumed to be included in coaching fees.

What happens after 12 weeks?

We review your results and agree on the next stage. The ongoing plan is adapted to your progress and circumstances, with quarterly reviews to keep your priorities current.

Will this guarantee a longer life?

No. No training programme can guarantee a longer life or prevent every illness. The aim is to support fitness, physical function and everyday habits that contribute to living well. Individual results vary.

Is this an exercise programme or medical treatment?

This is an exercise and lifestyle coaching programme, not medical diagnosis or treatment. Assessments are selected for your circumstances and do not predict lifespan. Results vary.
